Now you need to give your application number and date of birth

JEE Main Result 2016 : Finally after a long wait we have good news for all those candidates who had applied and appeared for the Joint Entrance Examination conducted by The Central Board Of School Education. According to the news that we have, the board will be releasing the JEE Main result on the main site tomorrow & will also be hosted here on this webpage. Considering the huge number of students who had applied for the examination there will a lot of rush on the website so you are advised to check your result as early as possible. How to find maxima and minima at Given Point

Hey there
Now I m talk u about tricks of maxima and minima at a given point.

Let we are interested to find maxima or minima for f(x). ie ..f(x) = ax²+bx+c
at a point x= a
Solution --

1-First differentiate it.
We obtained.
I.e.. 2ax+b
2- now put x= a
If it is +ve then maxima , -ve then minima, if zero
3- differentiate again then put x=a
If positive then minima or negative then maxima.
If zero .
4 similarly differentiate till u get non - zero value after putting x=a

Then
If u obtained  non-zero at nth derivative

If n is odd -
     Obtained positive - maxima
                     Negative - minima

If n is even-
     Obtained positive - minima
                     Negative - maxima
